Nutrient-rich volcanic soil, high altitudes and cool temperatures mean that coffee cherries thrive and develop slowly, allowing for a more complex final fruit. This lot is an excellent option for a blended roast. The coffee’s fruit-forward and nutty characteristics are complemented by decadent notes of milk chocolate and vanilla. The level of precision and control of the Aillio Bullet is remarkable–it easily matches, and perhaps even exceeds the level of control you find on most commercial roasters.
‍
It has a solid steel drums that helps with heat retention and transfer, and full control of the induction heat, airflow and the drum speed. Bean temperatures are read using an infrared probe, which is significantly more accurate than the thermocouples you find on most commercial roasters.

There is also an impressive degree of automation. First up, the roast will heat up automatically, so you don't have to babysit the roaster during heat up. You can record and then repeat your favourite roasts, and save all your profiles (including temperature profiles, heat, airflow and drum speed changes) using the including Roast Time software.
